The Washington Assistive Technology Foundation is changing its name to Washington Access Fund and looking for a new logo!
If you are not familiar with the organization, they provide low cost financing for assistive technologies, home and vehicle accessibility modifications and business equipment for self employment (including equipment and work place modifications that would be of interest to artists with disabilities!)
They are participating in a “logo tournament” at http://www.logotournament.com/.
*This contest ends on February 18* and they would love to encourage participation by artists with disabilities. The posted prize is $300. To become a member of the logotournament community, interested participants should go to the logotournament website and click on “signup” on the upper right corner. Then — click on “I am a logo designer.” It takes a few days to be approved but also looks like a great opportunity to get one’s name out there and to earn some money!
