ArtSpring! Planning Committee

This year-round committee of volunteers work with CA/VSAAW staff to plan and manage all aspects of ArtSpring!, our Annual Arts Celebration.   This working committee meets monthly (more often as the event approaches) and shapes the annual theme; publicity; decorations; entertainment; performances; exhibits; workshops; hands-on, interactive arts experiences (art booths); and everything else to make this an event to remember for all who participate.

Seattle Center Artist Studio Assistant

Volunteer in the Seattle Center Artist Studio! 

Volunteers assist with the day-to-day operations of the studio located at the Center House on the Seattle Center Campus.  Activities include assisting visitors with one-time art projects, working with artists with disabilities (help with art projects, applying for exhibits and performances, framing, pricing and marketing their work, and creating portfolios), and ensuring everyone is working in a safe, clean and well-stocked studio.  Volunteers are asked to commit to 2 to 4 hours a week for at least 10 weeks.

Exhibits & Performances Assistant

This is a project-based volunteer opportunity.  Volunteers work with the Program Director to prepare and manage the various exhibits and performances CA/VSAAW host each year.  Activities may include receiving, cataloging, photographing, framing and hanging/presenting artwork; making arrangements for performers; working with the venue for the exhibit and/or performance; and assisting with publicity and marketing.
